The Government has instituted Corporate Social Responsibility Award to honour the industrial, services and business organisations that are actively involved in various social and economic upliftment activities as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility from the year 2007-2008 onwards. The Award consists of Rs.5 Lakhs cash prize each and a Certificate.
Corporate sectors, which are in existence for more than 5 years and involve in various social and economic upliftment activities are eligible for this Award. The organisations which have already been given this Award by the Government are not eligible for 5 years from their selection.
The applications forms are available at the Chamber office and it can also be downloaded from the department Website: www.tnrd.gov.in. Eligible organisations may forward their application duly filled in with all the details to the District Collector, Coimbatore or to The Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Panagal Building, Saidapet, Chennai 600 015, on or before 31.12.2010.
There is no participation fee to attend the conclave however, prior registration is required.
