We wish to inform that at the meeting of NGO Connect– The Power of One (an umbrella created by our Chamber for all other Non Governmental Organizations) organized by our Chamber on Sunday the 3rd July 2011, the NGOs expressed their concern about the attitude of Railways for skipping of 11 trains at Coimbatore Junction. They also raised voice for provision of certain infrastructure facilities to the traveling public at Coimbatore Junction.
The other issue taken up for discussion was purification of Valankulam since the entire water is polluted due to dumping of medical and other wastage materials.
The aim of the programme is to provide a Forum for the youth to come face-to-face with the leaders of the industry.
In order to further discuss these issues and to decide as how to represent this to the Tamil Nadu Government, a meeting of all NGOs and Affiliated Associations of our Chamber is being called for on Saturday the 9th July 2011 at 5.30 pm at our Chamber Towers.
We intend to invite the Members of Parliament and Members of Legislative Assembly of Coimbatore for this meeting. We request all the Press Members to participate in this meeting.
