TNGST - Settlement of Arrears
Members of the Chamber may be aware that the Government of Tamil Nadu provided for settlement of arrears of tax, penalty and interest with regard to assessments made prior to 1.4.2002 under the TNGST Act.
The time limit for filing the application was fixed as 31.1.2009 originally. However, the same has been further extended to 2.11.2009 for the benefit of the assessees. The G.O. Ms.No.105 dated 3.8.2009 is issued in this regard.
